Who is Flash Jam Entertainment?
Flash Jam Entertainment is locally owned and operated by Cameron NewWorld, LLC and was previously known as American Bride Entertainment. We provide top-rated DJ entertainment services and lighting for weddings, corporate events, fundraisers, concerts, charity events, and other styles of private celebration.

How long has Flash Jam Entertainment been in business?
We have been in business since 2003 providing services originally as American Bride Entertainment--a weddings only brand concept which has evolved into Flash Jam Entertainment serving all types of events. 

Are you licensed and insured?
Yes, Flash Jam Entertainment is licensed and carry professional liability insurance which meets or exceeds the requirements of major venues.

What areas in Northeast Ohio does Flash Jam Entertainment Serve?
Click here to view a service area map.  We serve the majority of Northeast Ohio, which consists of: Cleveland, Akron, Painesville, Medina, Lorain, and Geauga County. 
We go as far South as Green, East as far as Geneva, and West as far as Lorain.  See the map above for detailed areas. 

What is Flash Jam Entertainment's style?
We do not have a particular style except to say, we are not in the business of cheesiness or showboating.  We customize and provide our services based on what EACH client specifies.  Everyone is different; therefore, we do not believe in a cookie cutter style to accommodate all.

What kind of music do you play?
Same answer as above.  We customize and provide our services (including the playlist) based on what each client specifies using a collaborative approach.

Will I be able to see Flash Jam Entertainment at another event?
This quick answer is "NO".  Several publications and websites suggest that you see DJ in action at another event. Unfortunately, with today's privacy standards, this has become impossible to arrange.  Most clients (and venues) will not allow spectators or visitors, as the practice has become frowned upon and creepy.  We recommend you read our reviews on Google, The Knot, Wedding Wire, or view us in action by visiting Facebook, Instagram, or Tik-Tok.

How good are your reviews?
We are proud to say Flash Jam Entertainment is one of the best reviewed DJ companies in the area.  We are inducted members of The Knot's Best of Weddings Hall of Fame, and hold 5-star ratings on Wedding Wire, Google, and The Knot itself.  We also have an A+ Rating with the Better Business Bureau.

How many professional DJs does Flash Jam Entertainment have on staff?
We currently have two main DJs, two assistant DJs, and two audio/lighting installers on our staff and do not book more than one event on any date.

What is your cancellation and refund policy?
In the event you need to postpone or cancel your date, it must be communicated in writing or via e-mail.  Besides the previously paid booking retainer, no other amount is due when an event is canceled ninety-one days prior to the performance date.  All monies paid are non-refundable including the booking retainer fee when an event is canceled within ninety days of performance date, however, events postponed may be rescheduled up to 24 months from the original event date pending availability.  A $100 re-booking fee may apply to each date rescheduled. Regardless of circumstance, the retainer fee is non-refundable.

How much is the retainer to book Flash Jam Entertainment services?
The required booking retainer is $550.00 for weddings and $350.00 for all other events, which is deducted from your total amount due. Because of the demand of limited dates we accommodate, booking retainers are non-refundable.

When is the final payment due?
The final payment is due no later than 14 days prior to the event date for weddings.  The final payment for non-wedding events is due no later than the start time of the event.

Do you accept credit cards?
Yes. We accept credit or debit cards online using our secured online system by clicking "Payments" on our website.

Do you charge setup or teardown fees?
There are no extra fees associated with setting up or tearing down our equipment during most events.  However, additional fees may be charged for events that require extensive labor, difficult setups, or extra equipment.  These charges would be presented to you upfront or at the time of upgrading a package.

Do you have backup equipment available?
Backup equipment is built inside each of our sound systems, with 3 layers of emergency music on-site and readily available.

Do you use Spotify or Pandora to play music?
No, Flash Jam Entertainment does not use consumer streaming services to play music at our events. We own our physical and digital music, which is distributed by an industry leader representing the record labels and copyright owners. Music is simultaneously downloaded to our sound systems and hard drives, including each backup method.  If a song is needed that we do not have, we can then play the song via Tidal, which is integrated into the software that we use.

Do you play music that includes profanity and explicit content?
We do not play music containing explicit lyrics and/or overtly offensive content unless requested to do so by you (the client).  However, we cannot accommodate this request when the following conditions apply:
a. During "all-ages" events with children under seventeen in attendance.
b. When the event is being held on property the general public has access to. This includes but is not limited to multi-room venues, venues attached to hotels or other public spaces, and outdoor venues located near residential or public property.
c. We are unable to secure written approval from the venue (an email from an authorized person at the venue is sufficient).
No, all of our music is "radio friendly" and does not contain profanity.  If a request is made to play explicit music at your event, the following criteria would have to apply:

What is Flash Jam Entertainment's M.E. dance lighting?
M.E. is our exclusive "fixture-less" mood-enhanced dance lighting, which is lighting based on the song that is currently playing. This lighting will not interfere with the decor or beauty of your venue.  The fixtures are nearly invisible--no stands, poles, or trussing.  We will activate this lighting only after your formalities have been completed.

How will the DJs dress at my event?
We always dress appropriately in a professional manner based on the type of event.  Elegant attire for weddings, and whatever attire the client specifies at all other events.

Do you farm out or hire other DJ companies to cover your events?
No.  Only employed agents of Flash Jam Entertainment perform at our events.  Since we assigned two DJs to each event, there is no need for us to farm out or hire other companies to cover our calendar.  Once we sell out a particular date, it is no longer available on our website.

Can you provide music for my wedding ceremony?
Yes, we have ceremony options which include a lapel microphone for your Officiant, wireless mic(s) for readers or singers, and a discreet sound system that will not appear in your wedding photos.

Will you play off a list of songs we provide?
You can custom select the music for your formalities, including up to eight "must play" and eight "do not play" selections.  You can also create a playlist of songs that are OK to play or in-line with your theme.

However, if you are seeking to remove creative and instinctive abilities by having us play music only from a rigid playlist, we would have to decline playing at your event.  A successful event is a collaborative effort that utilizes the ability, experience, and best judgment of the professional entertainer DJ/MC.
