HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN IN BUSINESS?
We have been in business since 2003 providing services as American Bride Entertainment--a weddings only brand concept which has evolved into Flash Jam Entertainment serving all types of events.
ARE YOU LICENSED AND INSURED?
Yes, we are licensed and carry professional liability insurance which meets or exceeds the requirements of major venues.
WHAT AREAS DO YOU SERVE?

We serve the majority of Northeast Ohio, which is generally the areas consisting of: Cleveland, Akron, Canton, Painesville, Medina, Ashtabula, Lorain, Erie, and Geauga County. We charge a long distance fee for any venues/locations outside 50 miles of zip code 44131. The fee of $1.50 per mile is only applied to miles over the initial 50 miles each way.
WHAT IS YOUR STYLE?
We do not have a particular style except to say, we are not in the business of cheesiness or showboating. We customize and provide our services based on what EACH client specifies. Everyone is different, therefore we do not believe in a cookie cutter style to accommodate all.
WHAT KIND OF MUSIC DO YOU PLAY?
Same answer as above. We customize and provide our services (including the playlist) based on what EACH client specifies.
HOW GOOD ARE YOUR REVIEWS?

We also have an A+ Rating with the Better Business Bureau, and was nominated as Best Area DJ on the Cleveland Hotlist.
HOW MANY DJ PROFESSIONALS DO YOU HAVE?
We currently have 3 DJ Professionals, 3 DJ Assistants, and 2 Audio/Lighting installers on our staff and do not book any more than 3 events on a particular date.
WHAT OTHER SERVICES DO YOU PROVIDE?
Besides DJ entertainment, we provide: Dance Lighting and Effects, Ceremony Music, Aesthetic LED Uplighting, Custom Monograms, Photo Booths, Green Screens, Caricature Artist, Dance Fitness, Flash Jam Fitness, and Karaoke.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION / REFUND POLICY?
In the event you need to postpone or cancel your date, it must be communicated in writing or via e-mail. Besides the previously paid retainer, no other amount is due when event is canceled prior to 90 days of performance date. One hundred percent (100%) of remaining balance is due when event is canceled within 90 days of performance date. All monies paid are non-refundable including the retainer fee, however, events postponed may be rescheduled up to 18 months from the original event date pending availability. A $50 re-booking fee may apply to each date rescheduled.
HOW MUCH IS THE FEE TO BOOK YOUR SERVICES?
The required retainer is $300 for weddings and $200 for all other events, which is deducted from your total amount due. Because of the demand of limited dates we accommodate, retainers are non-refundable.
WHEN IS THE FINAL PAYMENT DUE?
The final payment is due no later than 14 days prior to the event date for weddings. The final payment for non-wedding events is due no later than the start time of the event.
DO YOU ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS?
Absolutely. We accept credit or debit cards online using our secured online system by clicking "Payments".
DO YOU CHARGE SETUP OR TEARDOWN FEES?
There are no extra fees associated with setting up or tearing down our equipment during most events. However, additional fees may be charged for events that require extensive labor, difficult setups, or extra equipment. These charges would be presented to you upfront or at the time of upgrading a package.
DO YOU HAVE BACKUP EQUIPMENT AVAILABLE?
Backup equipment is built inside each of our sound systems, with 3 layers of emergency music readily available.
DO YOU USE PANDORA OR SPOTIFY TO PLAY MUSIC?
No, we do not use consumer streaming services to play music at our events. All of our music is company owned and supplied from a industry leader representing the record labels and distributors. Music is simultaneously downloaded to all of our sound systems and hard drives, including each backup method. If a song is needed that we do not have, we can then play the song via Tidal® which is integrated into the software that we use.
DO YOU PLAY MUSIC THAT INCLUDES PROFANITY?
No, all of our music is "radio friendly" and does not contain profanity. If a request is made to play explicit music at your event, it will require a signed waiver from you and the venue.
WHAT IS IEFX® ELEGANT DANCE LIGHTING?
This is our exclusive "fixture-less" intelligent dance lighting which is integrated into the facade of our sound systems. The advanced lighting will not interfere with the decor or beauty of your venue. The fixtures are virtually invisible--no stands, poles, or trussing. We turn this lighting on after all of your formalities have been completed.
WILL I BE ABLE TO SEE YOU AT ANOTHER EVENT?
This quick answer is "NO". Several publications and websites suggest that you see your entertainer(s) in action at another event. Unfortunately, with today's privacy standards, this has become very difficult to arrange. Most clients (and venues) will not allow spectators or visitors, as the practice has become frowned upon and creepy. HOW WILL THE DJ'S DRESS AT MY EVENT?
We always dress appropriately in a professional manner based on the type of event. Elegant attire for weddings, and client requested attire for all other events.
DO YOU FARM OUT OR HIRE OTHER DJ COMPANIES FOR YOU EVENTS?
No. Only certified and employed agents of Flash Jam Entertainment perform at company booked events. Since we assigned 2 DJ's to each event, there is no need to farm out or hire other companies to cover our calendar. Once we sell out a particular date, it is no longer available on our website.
CAN YOU PROVIDE MUSIC FOR MY WEDDING CEREMONY?
Yes, we have a Ceremony Package that includes a lapel microphone for your Officiant, wireless mic(s) for readers or singers, and a discreet sound system that will not appear in your wedding photos.
WILL YOU PLAY OFF A LIST OF SONGS WE PROVIDE?
You are able to custom select all of your music, including "Must Play" selections and block out any songs you designate as "Do Not Play". You can also create a playlist of songs that are OK to play or inline with your theme.
Please Note: If you are seeking to remove creative and instinctive abilities by having us play music only from a rigid playlist, we would have to decline playing at your event. A successful event is a collaborative effort that utilizes the ability, experience, and best judgment of the professional entertainer DJ/MC.
A RELATIVE/FRIEND HAS OFFERED TO DJ MY WEDDING, IS THIS A GOOD IDEA?
Never. Flash Jam Entertainment is a 365 days a year operation with full liability insurance and backup equipment readily available. The relationships we have with banquet facilities, photographers, and even other entertainment services, provide us with resources that would be unmatched by casual individuals.
WHY DID THE COMPANY NAME CHANGE FROM AMERICAN BRIDE ENTERTAINMENT?
Over the years providing stellar service as a weddings only company, word-of-mouth has caused a demand for us to provide entertainment for other events. The name change was necessary to eliminate awkwardness at non-wedding functions.
